Karen Residence

A six-bedroom family home on a one-acre Karen plot. The clients had lived in the house for fifteen years and wanted the renovation to feel like their habits, not a designer's opinion.

We spent a week sketching with the family before we drew anything in software. The result: a built-in mvule library wrapping the study, a re-cut dining room that opens through frameless glass to the garden, and a barrel-vaulted gypsum ceiling that slows the corridor between living and bedrooms.

Three months from first site visit to handover. The kitchen alone took eight weeks of workshop time.
